Here is my updated suspension setup. I purchased BMR 1.25" drop springs, Bilstein HDs, and Nitto 555s.

After I mounted the 10 Spokes, the week I bought the car from its neglectful owner. Originally came with nasty black rattle can'd ZR1s.

I am very happy with the ride quality so far, not too bad for a lowered f-body. I am still planing on doing the heater hose mod to see if and how much the rear end will level out with the rest of the car.

How much where those shocks and springs? And are they hard to install or does a shop have to install them

Heater Hose Mod will help a little. When I installed my ST drop springs I had to trim about 3/4 of a coil off plus the heater hose mod to get the back down to a reasonable rake, but it was still too high in the ass end for me.

Car looks great, I can't wait until my NT555s show up

Any more plans for the car??

Yeah the heater hose mod will be simple so I'll try that first. I have plenty more plans for the car, but I have to take care of the "need" list over the "want" list lol. First thing I have to do is replace the fuel pump and filter. After that I need to work out some suspension kinks in the drop (got a new rattle after we lowered it). Everything was installed right, so Im thinking that it may need some new bushings and joints.

But the major things I'd like to do down the road are to build an LT4, get it painted, and run 18" C5 Z06's.

I am sure you'll love your NT555s, will it be your first set of Nittos?

First set of Nittos for a car. I had them on my truck (nitto terra grapplers) and love them. I have probably 30k miles on them and they are still about 1/2 tread. If I get 10k out of them on my car I'll be happy, for some reason my car is alot harder on tires than my truck is.

I completely understand the "need" list. I'm finally reworking the 16 year old suspension on my car. It should be done in the next few weeks, then I get the joy of tuning it and making sure everything is working correctly

They are 17x9 IIRC

I was able to buy the Shocks for $300. They were new in the box but I purchased them from a guy who never installed them. The springs cost me around $200 I believe, same thing; I found a guy who had two fronts which were new and never installed, then I bought the two rears from BMR. My friend and I installed them ourselves, and it wasn't too bad. The front passenger side strut assembly had rusted nuts, so that was kinda a pain.

Yeah they are 17x9.5. Thats the only size GM made, and no aftermarket company has made a replica set in different sizes. I have seen a "10 Spoke" look alike, and it was horrible...lol. But if someone made "factory looking" replica 10 Spokes in 18x9.5 and 18x11s I would consider them in a heartbeat!!!! I have thought about getting different rims, but I just cant seem to part with my 10 Spokes.

I have a friend with a T/A and his NT555s have close to 35k on them and they are in amazing shape. You said you will be working on your suspension here soon; you will be surprised at how much longer your tires will last with fresh springs, shocks, joints etc. My old busted stock suspension destroyed tires.

After I replace the fuel pump and harness, Ill have to save so I can replace the water pump, radiator, and opti. She is my daily driver and the florida heat is rough on her lol.

When you say "kit" Im assuming you mean the drop kit right? I purchased everything seperate, but from guys who purchased the items new and never installed them. I saved close to $200 doing it that way, only things is that I dont have any warranties with the parts.

But you can get Bilstein shocks from a dealer for around $400-$450 depending on where you buy. The springs cost $230 new from BMR, and the tires..lol..well just call a few tire dealers in your area and play the price game till someone gives you the best price.
