S.E.S. light popped up. Threw the scanner on it and i am getting P0335 and P0336. Both are related to the Crankshaft Position Sensor. The rich condition might be caused by running open headers which has the O2s really close to open air. So i am not too worried about that.

Now the CPS codes are worrying me. The wiring for that pigtail seems good and so does the sensor. Just to be safe i just ordered a new one. I know i put the reluctor wheel on right. From doing some research it seems this sensor plays no role with ignition or fuel adjustments and that it can be tuned out. But i would rather find out what the damn problem is.

Any other ideas? other than waiting for the new sensor to arrive.

The car is a 97 Z28 and the engine is a LT4 355 H/C/I Setup. Freshly built, not tuned yet, stock injectors and FPR.

I just updated my post on a similar problem. I would get your exhaust on so you can rule out O2's falsely reading air. I had some fuel trim issues causing the O2's to read all over the place, I know the CPS and O2's don't rely on each other but it could be confusing the pcm causing odd codes.
