3.8 to LT1 Help please:)

Ok so i have a some questions about swappin engines in between my two cars, one bein a 1996 lt1 the other bein a 1997 3.8. I know i will need to swap my entire k member, radiator, ECU, engine harness, gauges and rearend. So i guess my question is will i have to change out any of the harness under the dash? the 96 is a six speed and the 97 is an auto. Also the 97 has drum brakes on the rear but where the lines are on the abs block and the line that runs to the rear and splits look just like the one on my 96 with discs on it. Will the disc rearend work? I got a really good deal on the v6 and it has a really straight body and the interior i like whereas my 96 has seen its better days and im not a big fan of the dash. i would swap it all out just to keep it simple, check out my thread in this section as well as phil's (mpe331lx) mine is the 99 3.8 to lt1 swap, his is the 97 3.8 to lt1 swap. Both should be very helpful to you. Any questions just send me a pm ive kinda been there done that thing so i might be able to answer most of your questions.
