Long story short, I got a sweet deal on a cam, heads, and intake a little while back before i knew much about my car. The heads and intake are ported and polished. My problem I just realized is that the intake and heads are from a 93. My car is a 97. So far the only difference I see is the fuel rail crossover on the top of the intake. My intake has one in the front the 93 does not.

My question is can I make these work? How big of a deal is this? Run them as is? Tap into the front of the fuel rails and make my own crossover pipe?

Thanks in advance for any info!!!!

only diff i know of is the fuel rails and the crossover point. I also know some ppl prefer the 93 cause the roof doesnt have the indent for the crossover. You can make your own rails, but look in ebay for 1993 rails. It would look cleaner and be easier and less leak prone. here is a set for about 40 bucks:

The fuel rails are the only difference i know of as well. I have a really nice 93 fuel rail as well for 40.00 + shipping. If interested pm me.

The intake I got came with fuel rails, fpr, injectors.... My main concern was if I would be ok with the 93 rails on the 97 or if my 97 was set up to work with the front crossover.

should work fiine, the stock fuel lines may be a little long as the hookup on 93 is in the middle and the 97 is in the rear. I dunno if 97's had 90 degree bends to the rail fittings, but my 93 does.

Ok that's good to know. I actually like the 93 intake better as it looks cleaner. With the lines being "too long" it may make it easier to hide them.
