datalogging and apu1 with tunerpro

im checcking out tunerpro with my apu1 to see if i like it. im having a few issues. i have my data aquisition interface set to auto prom and it shows da connected but i get no data. i was told i need to set my emulation interface to max 232 but the only thing in the dropdown is the tunerpro interface. i also tried to load the da2.ads file and it said the encoding was wrong so i tried importing the file to transfer it and make it da2.adx still nothing, tried the eemanual.adx nothing...what am i missing. this is on a 93 bird. both switches on the apu1 are set to the right for data logging only and to not use the 10k resistor.:(

nevermind...im stupid. since i had tunerpro in autoprom mode i had to take the autoprom out of bypass. seems the bypass mode id only for other datalogging programs such as winaldl. i thought that mode was only for datalogging while emulating.oh...and yes i had to run the da2.adx file that i converted from the da2.ads file to get the data to read correctly....took most of the afternoon but i got her talkin and makin nice with the apu1 via tunerpro. persistance pays!:)
