HEY GUYS I HAVE A FEW T/A'S WITH THE BBK 58MM TB (ALSO PORT MATCHED) AND I HAVE RECENTLY HEARD ABOUT THE TPIS MONOBLADE TB AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT WOULD BE THE POSIBLE GAINS IF I SWITCHED FROM THE BBK 58MM TO THE TPIS MONOBLADE AND WOULD I POSSIBLY HAVE TO BUY A DIFFERENT INTAKE SINCE I HAD IT PORT MATCHED FOR THE BBK 58MM PLZ HELP ME OUT THX

I don't know your mods but likely it won't be worth spending the coin unless you have a higher end build. Even then, most switch the intake system entirely.

Highly doubtful. No disrespect to you or your combination but a need for a mono-blade is better left
for those with LARGE CUBES,high compression etc. A large chunk of change!

What everyone said, We had a car with a 58mm then the customer switched to a mono. No Gains. The only time you need more intake air if the motor needs it. If it doesnt then there is nothing to be had. Also like said, if you are getting to the point where your motor needs more air then it best to start looking into a sheetmetal intake...

The need for a monoblade, in my opinion, doesn't exist anywhere. A 58mm TB will do anything and everything you want it to do. Unless you're pushing over 25-ish PSI of boost and are being restricted, I don't see a need for anything bigger.
