SES light does not work

Just swapped a new dash and have done some rewiring in the engine bay, now my SES light is not working, it doesnt come on when you turn the key to "on" like it should. Ive tried another cluster so I am positive it is not the bulb. Checked fuses, what else should I look for ?? Ground connections ??

it might seem like a dumb question but y are u worring about the light not coming on? i would think u would be happy it never comes on

What happens when something is wrong with the car and the light should be on...I wont know about it.

if something happens thats major your guna know about it light or not haha. im pretty sure all the ses light does is monitor the air and egr stuff right? maybe im wrong

SES light represents failure or problem with lots of things on my car... codes Ive seen in the past, multiple Evap, O2s, Cat failures, air , misfire, etc etc....
