yeah thats what i keep hearing......so far its min about 700-1000 for some work....with the stage one.....its 1200 with a custom cam...thats sweet....i went and emailed them for total price taxed and shipped since the location is still some hours away......ill guess ill try to shoot for the le2....but still anymore places let me know.
just a little info....i really want the afr...but if i get them it will be another 1-2 years before my project will be done(im allready at 5 years).....if i can get a good package for less....even though its not afr.....i can always spray the difference.........and have fun this year instead of years to come....i want to run low 12's high 11's....on motor alone with street tires.....so far i have almost done buying the full bolt ons...full exhaust....and am building a 383 93 speed density motor.....and its adding up real quick...so im thinking the extra dough for the afr is not neccesary for my goals....plus it doesnt come with a cam.

With a 383 and the LE1s your probably going to make your goal of low 12s-high 11s if you can get a decent launch. If you plan on spraying you will be well into the 11s at that point. LE knows his LT1s

well i called everyone and even with shipping Lloyd Elliot came out the winner....in fact if you minus shipping.....he charges the same thing for heads ... cam and ported intake....:claps:.....then others charged for heads only.....called lme and there to pricey.....for either head or block work....so Im 90% sure Im going with Houston engine balancing for the block work and lloyd for the heads, cam and ported intake.... and only thing is lloyd whats cash....no credit card....:puke:......however he has not one negative rep on him.....been out for awhile....so still gonna do it.

Why are you building a stroker if your goals are only 11s?
Plenty of stock 350 short block LE2 cars going mid 11's...

can you tell me your full name cus it seems to be like mine....... gregorio barron III.....i dont run into many barrons...
about the 350....my motor has been sitting for over 5 years....and had 170,xxx miles when i took it out.....so i have to rebuild....was for sure going to be forged....so i thought after seeing the prices....might as well go 383.

Yes let LE spec out a cam for you too. Most of the comp cams or so are outdated now, even tho they are proven to work, there are better options out there.

If your stock shortblock is fine, I would keep running it. LE2 stuff will work on a 350 cube motor. No sense in a full rebuild if it still makes good oil pressure and still has good compression. Don't fix what ain't broke. My stock shortblock has god-knows-how-many miles on it, but still runs strong.
