Alright, I know this is just straight up blasphemy, and I'm probably be sent to GM hell for even considering this but I have a set of black 18" Saleen replicas on my Crown Vic and I was thinking of putting them on my T/A. Not sure what the offset is but I did need spacers (1.25" front, 1.5" rear) to make them flush with the Vic's fenders when I got them, so I think they would work. I'm most likely be getting some Bullitt's or Cobra's for the Vic any ways. And the 16 inchers on my T/A just plain ol' suck. I'll be getting a set of Chevy to Ford wheel adapters soon. Once I do, I'll post up some pics to show you guys how it looks. And honestly, I think wheels are just wheels. Torq Thrust II's look as badass on a nice Mustang as they do on a nice T/A. So, I don't see anything worng with putting these on here. Here is a photoshop. More pics once I get the adapters. I might even get some T/A center caps for them with the bird of prey.

No offence but that looks like garbage. Saleens on a ta = Fail.

i'm on the fence, in general i didn't care for saleens plus with the wife driving i put 17" cobra r's on her mustang. they don't look half bad on the ta. my 2 issues are using adapters and i just don't like black wheels. with that said go for it and be different. after all at then end of the day your the only one that has to be happy.

I think I read somewhere that mustang wheels with a mustang offset will stick out past the fenders on a F-body when used with adapters.

I don't think it looks right, anybody that knows factory rims will see that they are from a mustang. Imagine ws6 wheels on a mustang, but if you like it that's all that counts, be sure to post pics, when you get them on.

depends which generation

anything from 94-04 have numerically low offsets so with adapters, you'll be ridin' gangsta

05+ have offsets similar to Corvettes so with an adapter, they sit damn-near flush with the fenders

your PS makes them look like they're 20's. I dont think they would look bad.

I was just looking at doing something similar myself. I have some Motegi Touge wheels in a Ford lug pattern, and after comparing many Mustang offsets, I found that the best bet would be to drill out your axles, hubs, and rotors for the Ford lug pattern. It probably wouldn't be much for a good machine shop to do, but at that point, you may be better off selling the Saleens, and picking up some wheels that will fit properly.

Who cares as long as they're black. Can't really tell what wheels they are 'til you get right up on them anyway. It'll look aight

They just look like plain 5-spoke wheels to me. I don't see a problem with them, especially if you got 'em for a deal.

Here's a chop I did -
