project broncoII resurection,,help me with tdc

putting my 90 broncoII back in action after 7 yrs of being a yard ornament,,problem is the distributor was yanked back then with nothing marked,i put in new distributor after finding tdc on #1 but im not 100% sure it was compression stroke,,

if by chance it wasnt will i just have to pop the distributor back out and rotate 180* and back in?

that sounds about right.. if u want an easy way to tell its on its compression stroke pepboys has a good compression gauge for about 25$.
