Its been a while since ive posted on here due to a crazy life of working days and going to get my degree at night, but fear not. I have returned. :claps:
ANywho, since our last episode i blew the camaro motor sky high thanks to the joys of a crappy tx country road, way too much rain, and mixing with internal parts equals catostrophic failure. Sat for about 5 months but have finally started the rebuild. Picking up the block and rotating assembly from the machine shop this weekend so should be a intresting build. Upon taking apart the old motor found that thanks to the hydralock it bent number 8 piston which decided to snap about a inch down from the wrist pin in turn breaking the block in 3 places and taking out number 7 piston with it. Thanks to the firing range known as my oil pan at that point the little peices tried to escape in four places but not before it took a chunk out of the cam shaft and crank. Bent and warped a few valves and seats and turned number 6 cylinders exhaust springs pushrod into a question mark. All of which happening i still drove the car up onto and off of the trailor. Good ol lt's :shiner:

-all egr/air/smog pump shit deleted

I know theres more that im forgetting but been alot of money thrown at this damn thing the last month cant remember all the parts. lol. All those than read this can tell, im building this motor to be strong and be able to take moderate abuse.
As far as outside the car, the only mods that have been done are a 98 and up style ss hood (just the scoop is different), deep dish silver with polished lip zr1 wheels, a shaved rear berger panel, everything blacked out, a blacked out billet grill and HID's. Thats it and thats all i wana do to the outside. I am about a clean look, i hate too much done. New paint, silver yenko stripes and silver ss manta stripes are going to be done once the car is running and the suspension work starts. Ill keep anyone intrested in updates on when i get the dyno numbers when its done and the progress on the rest of the car ill let you know.
