built to handle 118? No car needs to be built to handle a certain octane... unless you up the boost or the compression to justify the octane.

All throwing in 118 into a car not tuned for it is going to do is make it run more rich, foul out plugs and or O2 sensors

he took it there on a trailer to run a 15.9 second pass

his best pass at the track was a 15.9

the reasons he gave ...

no boost (wastegate stuck open)
missed 2nd gear (every pass)
missing and or cutting out
bad wheel hop (shook a gauge loose)
and over heating/ fan not working
