And I know these videos and clips are requested all the time, so this will be good for future searchers.

Some of you saw my video with the cutout open awhile back.

Cutout open:
YouTube - LT1 longtubes, ORY, open cutout, Hooker

I finally got a clip with the cutout closed. Pacesetter longtubes, Pacesettery Offroad Y pipe, Hooker Aerochamber muffler. My neighbors were sitting around so I didn't get too many high revs. Just a couple small revs, but I LOVE the sound! Enjoy!

Thanks!

Bad fuel pressure regulator or check valve on my fuel pump. It's gotta be one of those 2 but haven't verified which part is at fault, mainly because i've been lazy about it. It's been that way for over a year now, i'll get it fixed sometime SOON shortly though.

I went through that a few months ago actually. Rough starts, MUCH MUCH worse then yours. Finally cut the trap door open and pulled the pump, found a hole in the plastic feed line.

Well.. It normally takes forever to start. I had primed the pump but turning the key back and forth several times before i cranked it.

This is without priming the pump: (old ass video with flowmasters. ignore the rest after startup)

So, what all did you have to fix/replace for that?

I just bought the racetronix fuel pump kit with the wiring upgrade. Changed the pump and ran new wiring. Did the trap door method. I believe its on thunderracing. The instructions that come with it are straight forward and very simple. It was actually a very easy install.

Id however get a fuep pressure guage on it first to check just to be sure.

I'm gonna replace the regulator first

I had my check valve get a hole in it and it caused hard starting. I would have to crank for like 15 seconds, let off and hit it again and it would fire right up. Changed the whole pump out while I was in there and bye-bye problems.

Nice, its odd though we have the same setup Pace Setter Long Tubes, Y Pipe no Cats, Dump then Hooker Exhaust. Mines all 3 inch and to me it just sounds different kinda quieter and a little different.

I will do a video tomorrow I have been putting it off because I have been working on everything else that I need to finish and frankly... the car's not going in for paint until Jan so its still being prep'd and cleaned up.

Either way though i def like it, esp on another Firebird, nice to see someone else with the same setup.
