i am losing ALL motivation to do any more work to my car....a few months back i put a new trans/stall in the car, and its all ready bleeding on my garage floor. (not even 20miles), i took apart the top end to swap on the parts i have had sitting around for years, and for those that remember the pics i posted of my heads...168k miles with no sign of oil crud at all, i a little worried to put it all back to gather with out yanking the motor and replacing the oil pump....really it just kills me that i try to do 1 simple job and i find a list of more things that are fucked up on it. and on top of all the motor issues I'm finding, cosmetically my car looks like shit. (dam transport company's) i have actually almost come to the point i say fuck it and sell the car.....
please help rebuild my motivation!

Honestly, it happens to all of us.
Your not the only one but once you get through it, you look back and say to yourself it was all worth it.
I know plenty of times I just wanted to give away my car.

^^ this
also, its like, i've had a lot of times throughout the years where i've just looked at mine, at all the little issues and have gotten so frustrated to the point where i contemplated selling it as well..thought about the money, the time, the patience, and just got so mad...
i dunno what changed exactly, but i just decided that it was worth everything it would need. the satisfaction of getting everything fixed and having people compliment me on the car and the job done is nice.
i get it when you say you go to do one job and it turns into more. trust me man, these cars are like 15 years old now, thats gonna happen...they dont build them like they used to thats for sure. just gotta persevere. it's all worth it in the end. your passion should always outweigh your weakness.

It really does happen to everyone. The best thing to do is make a list and just start at the top and work your way down. Don't give up hope man! Once everything starts coming together I absolutely promise you that you will be super happy. It's hard to explain, but if you don't drive it for a while, then take it out for its first run, it just feels amazing.

Ol pump should be fine. Its clogging of the oil passages that become an issue. The oil pump is pretty simple. Shouldn't need a new one till about 300kmiles. Keep with the car man. I hate to see another LT bite the dust.
