93 ta front end damage.. whats this part???

ok well i have a 93 ta that im tearing apart.. there is this electrical "box" thing that is on the DRIVER SIDE in the front of the car that is just under or inside of the frame rail.. it so badly damaged i cant tell i think its under it.. what is this part what does it do and do i need it? because i cant get it out its connected to the headlight harness and i need to get it out... if i dont need it im just ganna cut the wires off but if i do need it ill try to get it out with out damaging it more..

ok? does this make the headlights work or is it just for fliping the lights up and down ?

I believe it is just flipping them up and down.

harness is being used not sold.. what ever it was it wasnt ganna come out in one piece so i just cut it and labled it and taped it off and put it into the loom
