baby the tranny for how long?

how long do i have to baby the tranny or how do i go about "breaking it in" the right way so i dont break it

This is something you should ask your builder or if buying new, talk to the manufacturer.

When I rebuilt them,I know you're supposed to soak the clutch frictions in ATF but I was never told anything else.we even put the trannys on a dyno afterward,but yeah as said above talk to whoever did your work or where you got it from

baby it till just after the LTX shoot out's then do some normal driving and occasionally beat on it:D

I did 500 miles on my T56 then changed the fluid and ran with it. Just my $.02
