The interior is absolutly stunning, the exterior is very classy looking and the price is right. (straight trade the jetta for the truck)
The down side is obviously gas milage... what do you guys think? Is there any one out there thats driving something like this daily? Do you like it or do you miss driving a smaller car?

I daily drove an 02 Denali for a while. Paying over $650 a month in gas was rough but other than that, I loved the HELL out of that truck!! It was surprisingly quick too.

I DD in a 2000 GMC Sierra Z71 ex-cab. I love it, mileage sux 12-14 w/ the LS 5.3L. It pulls my car on an 18' trailer w/no problem. The only thing I'd change if I could woud be upgrade to a 2500 with the 6.0L and four real doors not the 2 small sucuide ex-cab rear doors. I guy I work with has a 2500 w a 6.0L and gets better mileage than I do!:taz:

I wish I had a truck or something like that as a daily driver. With the decreasing gas prices, it wouldnt be that much of a "burden" do drive since gas is pretty affordable as of now. It probibly wouldnt be much worse on gas than my Formula either .

'96 Silverado but I only DD it from Nov-March. Otherwise I drive the SS for the most part but randomly I'll drive the truck during the summer also.
I drove an Explorer for about 2 years and I finally got tired of it being slow and under powered.
So what did I do?
Bought a Ranger... lol. WooHoo

2002 Dodge Dakota here, not a fullsize but a nice truck. Not bad on gas and has been very relyable, never left me stranded. Its only the little 4.7L but it surprises me sometimes, even with nearly 120k on the clock. Great in the snow, but too light of a frame/suspension setup for what I need.
Looking to step up to something diesel for the towing/plowing. Just cant justify getting 10mpg towing/plowing with a V8 gasser.

I DD an 06 Ram Big Horn now. It's really not bad on gas. I also have a beater Honda Accord to drive if the gas prices decide to get ridiculous again.

I DD my 02 GMC Sierra during the months of November thru March and switch between it and the 95 Z in the warmer months. I have the 4.8L and it gets between 16-18 MPG average. Pulls the car and boat trailer great. I'm driving it today actually.

I drive a 94 Silvarado 4x4. I love the damn thing. I just wish it had the 350 Vortec instead of my 350 TBI :( Gas milage doesn't bother me too much, since I work ten minutes from my house and and school is about that distance as well. It gets 14.5 MPG with over 180k on the clock.

I've always gotta have a Full Size truck.
I had 80 Chevy Short bed, sold it for my 95 F150...and If I had the cash i'd sell it for a 03-04 Harley Davidson F150...those trucks are SO COMFY!
I'm even a GM guy :D
Say good bye to your regular cab...

I have Dodge 1500 SLT long bed. It's a great truck for my DD but yes the gas mileage is not helping out. I never get stuck in the snow, mud, grass. I even drive it on dirt roads without a care.

I drive an Excursion and love it. Plenty of room and you can pull anything. Only bad part is the 12-13mpg I get.

Well my 300ZX has been down for a month because I decided to paint some faded bumper covers. So I've been driving a 04 F-350 6.0 Powerstroke with 22k on it. I get like 13 to 15 mpg but diesel isn't cheap, it finally went down to $3.99 a gallon from $4.89. It's usually the tow vehicle and only sits in front of the house until it's needed, now it's the DD.

I drive a 02 Silverado ECSB Z71. With the 5.3 I get 16 mpg mixed, and have seen 20 mpg on a long HWY trip. I love the hell out of this truck!
Before that I drove a 95 Tahoe, 4dr, 4x4. It only got about 14 mpg, but it was/is a good truck also, even with 190k on the clock.
