Ok so today I woke up and my dad said he wanted to show me something on the Ebay. So he brings up an ebay listing ( the one I will link below) and tells me to check it out. Well low and behold, it is a listing for three GMMG camaros. The funny thing about it is that it is a guy listing them that lives in a town about 15 minutes away from my house (Archbald, PA), and I NEVER heard or seen of them. And apparently my dad recognized the guys name and he was actually the guy that bought my dads 68 all original z28 back in the day. Pretty funny how close it was to me and I never heard of the cars.

Well enough ranting, heres the link.

Well in fairness he's selling 3 and the original sticker was upwards of $100k for the stage III cars, but yeah he's not going to get that close to his asking price.

Those are ridiculously priced. Don't get me wrong they are sweet as hell, but NO WAY should a 4th gen have ever stickered over $100,000 ever. Yes they have sweet hand built motors, but are the motors worth $30,000 or something? Nope. Those cars SHOULD have stickered for $55,000ish, no more.

I agree its not anywhere near worth that price. Its just nice to see a local guy with a good taste in cars. They are beautiful cars, but id rather build a sick garage and house than have three cars that arent worth cloe to that.

The sad thing about amazing cars like that nowadays is that noone even drives them. The one car has never been titled. Such a shame. These cars are modern interpretations of '69 Yenko's and Berger's and Nickey's, etc, etc, except that the owners today own them simpy for the collectability and NOTHING more. Back in '69 those 427 COPO cars were created because some quick thinking dealers knew that the public wanted a MONSTER car that would stomp everything and anything. The owners back then didn't care about collectability, they cared about annihilating tires, and beating the other guy. I hate when a car is autographed by a few people and suddenly its asking price is $20,000 more. Who gives a shit?

Stage III (C5R 427) motor was a $23,995 option.

To each their own. I can understand having something rare and not wanting to drive it, but then again... fbodys are meant to be enjoyed (but then again I also wouldn't buy a $120,000 fbody) With all cars, some people tend to baby them more than others. It looks like this guy has enjoyed his $120k GMMG ZL1 Stage III car.
