My next buy is gonna be SFC. I can't decide between the 2 points or the 3 points. Is there any real advantage of the 3 points?

I don't see how there would be an advantage to them. The idea is to tie the front and rear of the car together so I don't see how the center mounting point would do much. It you decide to go with a tunnel mounted TA down the road the 3pt may be in the way. Just guessing though I may be way off, I've got bolt in Competition Enginering SFC's that I've welded FWIW.

slp weld in 3 points here w/a umi tunnel mount t/a. no issues. are they better? got mine for $100, so it was more the deal then being better then 2 point

Odds are I will go with the 2 points because of the price. Later down the road I plan on putting in a cage anyways.

I put on some 3 points last week and they made a huge difference. I think the 3 points tie everything together more and make it harder to twist the body, especially in the twisties. I have umi bolt-ins, only 18 more then the weld-ins, so why not. The third point bolts to the tunnel mount, and a tunnel mount t/a will bolt right up to the third point on the sfc's which to me I think will make some difference over the 2 points.
