This weekends project...

I Have a few choices with all the body parts i have laying around my garage my car is originally a firebird formula, for the last year its been sporting a full 93-97 trans am body kit an hatch. Well being i have a 99 trans am clone in the garage ( 99 firebird ). i thought id steal the front end off it. So i threw the 98-02 front clip on my 95, what do you think? keep it a 98-02 trans am, or go back to 93-97 trans am, or go back to the original Formula firebird look which i have everything to do a firehawk clone if i wanted even the slp 2otl. front end is sitting high cuz i just took it off jack stands.

me too, im gonna prep it for paint today an see which i like better. a ram air hood will def add to the look but it would also be sexy on the 93-97 front end too. i did this just to see how easy it was to bolt up outta bordum ended up walking out this morning an it kinda grew on me.

Lt1 style for sure. No use fakin like you got a ls1 under the hood. Plus Lt1 cars look better and not so bulky IMO.

I agree with AChotrod, the LT1 style looking a lot cleaner. Although the newer style looks good as well, it's fine if you're mainly wanting something different. It'll definitely confuse people.

You can always swap it back too. ;)

Im digging it, but Im still a bigger fan of the LT1 look. My suggestion, go back to the formula look with the TA hatch like the guy on here with the white one... and throw those corvette wheels with my old 295s on it.......

I think it looks good man. I dont like the LS1 front ends on Camaro's but the LS1 Trans Am front's are different IMO.

Dude it must be bice to be able to work on your car in the driveway in the winter.....theres 4 inches of snow on the ground up here :cry:

i think imma rock it for awhile, then look for a non spider cracked firebird front bumper an then go for the firehawk look an pick up a ram air hood when i can afford one an throw on the slp 2otl cat back i have. Im gonna confuse a few ppl first with the ls1 front end an ls1 tail lights :) . I dont think i like the lt1 trans am front bumper so i doubt ill go back to that. just wanted to get opinions an im liking the ones i hear so far. keep em coming. its been in the 60s n 70s here yesterday an today cool front just came thru so time to grab the hoodie an throw on jeans.

i like the lt1 formula style with a ram air hood more than the ls1 front end. but a ls1 firehawk hood might change that

i just wired the lights basic black green an tan impossible to screw up an i have high beams but no low beams :hmm:

I cannot get all 4 lights to come on when the high beams are on, only the high beams come on when the high beams are on an low beams come on when the low beams are on. What would cause this, is the switch different or the headlight module or something?

cuz like i said, the low beam wire is dead when you flip the high beams on, you need to get power to the low beams while the high beam are on! i told you, what i would have done!

Comp cc306 cam, port pros ported intake, 58mm tb, 150 shot, 38lb injectors, bolt ons 4 inch y pipe an 4 inch dyno max bullet an turn down and long tubes of course an 1.6 roller rockers emissions delete, tuned, but yes.... its just a lil 350.
