Welp over the past 3 weekends Ive been helping a buddy install his Wolfe Race Craft Mini tubs. I had no clue what I was in for. Figured, just just cut out the OE tubs, slide pre cut and pre assembled tubs and start welding. NOT. Wolfe's instructions consisted of some pics on their site and thats it. Any way, it all turned out better that I had expected and now knowing what the heck to cut. I'd almost be willing to do another install. Just not too soon

Inside the new Mini Tub Passenger side

Driver side, cut open. We were suppose to cut about 3/4" into the spring mount be the plan is to keep the spring perches stock. So we modified the tubs a tad

Plate welded in.

Cutting the bulge out of the "frame" withe the oxy acetylene torch. Giving the plasma torch. FIRE  Will never get the smell of burning seam sealer and undercoat from my memory.

Grinding seal sealer and undercoat took up much of the time. Clean metal welds much better ;)

Notice the huge hole left. I would think that Wolfe would have seen this and fabbed the tub to accommodate this. Guess not...

Closed the hole

Nice coat of glossy, chassis paint
