Are LT4 Valves worth the cost?

Just wondering if the stock LT4 valves are worth the cost, or is there a cheaper aftermarket valve that is just as light?

If your gonna spend the time and $ to repalce the valves I'd go aftermarket. I guess it depends how much $ the LT4's are, the 2.00/1.56's in my LE2's are Manley's and run about $20.00 each (#11500/11501). The LT4 had 2.00/1.55, are you planning on porting the heads to acomidate the larger valve size?

Manley or Ferrea.
And don't replace just valves. Have the heads worked over (ported, new valves, guides, etc), get 1.6 roller rockers with supporting parts, and cam.
Save your money and do it right the first time. It will pay off.
