new best

think this is one of my first post here but a wile back got a new best out of the ol lt1 so thought i would post it up. i know its nothing crazy like some but keep in mind my car still has everything it had when it rolled off the assembly line other then overdrive and is a street car, still has working a/c,heat,cruise control,power steering, you name it it still has it and is pushing 3750 with me in it

thanks guys. its nothing crazy just a 11.7 to 1 383 with the stock heads that a guy in KC ported (new kid cylinder head) and put 2.02 1.58 valves and a off the shelf comp cam (292 cam)

wish i would of had more time with it to get it in to the 9s. you should buy the motor and put it in the 9s:devil: but the truck is good. just pulled the motor. my brother has something bigger for next year for it. we got it down tho a 5.73 @ 118mph in the 1/8th on the 26/8.5 tire. never got to run it out the back door after we ran that 9.4 with it but i have a feeling it would of went 8.9s
