I cut the cowl a few years ago. I will look for the old pics and post them later. But here is a new picture. The bottom of the top tape line is what is hidden behind the extended sunoco hood. The bottom piece of tape is what is getting cut off and boxed in. This will close up everything I cut out previously.

Its going to be nice. Imagine looking down at the top of the distributor and being able to pull with the motor in the car. Attempted to pull the windshield. Need a heat gun or I'm just going to pay to hav it removed. Wait until you see the mods coming for the radiator support and trunk. Getting a larger fuel cell this time around too.

You can get lexan from a few different manufactorers. Speedglass, five star bodies, glasstec I'm sure their are a couple more. Five stars are nice. Looks like glass and no distortion.

Going thru Missouri tomorrow asked for a suv rental car so if I have the room I'm picking up the glass Percy's. So the money saved on shipping might make me pick up a rear glass window too. Just hope I can get a suv or a truck from enterprise. The company's van was checked out already. Cant wait for this to be finished

I got the Five Star Body's 3/16 front and 1/8 rear.

The combined shipping weight for both with the extra stuff and all the paper and card board was less then 80lbs.

how much does the stock glass weigh?

Lexan is half the weight of glass per the same thickness

But I beleave both the windshield and rear window are 1/4" so I am saving atleast 70lbs or more. Dury the installation more weight is coming out from the steel that gets removed. 3 layers of steel in the factory dash. Its a good thing I have a dash bar because those 3 layers are leaving.
