SR505 comes with the SKB case, SR500 comes with the Ibanez case, it has cosmetic damage only.

Omg I would love that 505. When Im not playing my 100w Crate bass amp doubles as a sub for my stereo , good option for you if it is just sitting around. I have a Cheapo Ibanez Gsr 200 I learned on and a Takamine G Sieres acoustic that I love. I rarely use my amp or electric just slap the acoustic when I am bored. Might be a good idea to pick up if its just a hobby for you
