Mods, If you feel this needs to be move to the Nitrous forums, please do so.
I have had good luck with my paltry little stock 48mm TB, but as times change, I need some LT1 community help.
Seeing as that I have a 93 (odd ball I know) what does it take to replace it with a 94 - 97 TB? I know everyone list two different P/N's, one for the 93 and one for the later years. Car has cruise control and does not have traction control.
Is it just a change in the throttle linkage on the side or does it also have to do with the IAC passages? I think I can get away with changing to the TPIS IAC housing, and even upgrading to the 94 up IAC and flat 4 wires vs. the 93's square plug.
Reason for this proposed change is that I am looking at getting the Holley/NOS throttle body (has the integral dry N20 ports, the IAC passages are correct and its shinny:D )
I also found that Holley has a retrofit kit that makes there N20 kit legal in CA.
Thanks
Marc
