This is a good time to start tuning your self. Data log the car and see whats shes doing. Check #1 plug to see what the motor is telling you. When you go wot do you get alot of black smock out the exaust?.

I have been trying to learn, but the only person I know who does his own tuning is very busy and doesn't have much time to help me out. I just need to know the basics and I am pretty sure I can pick it up from there. the only problem is that I don't even really know what I'm looking for when I data log the car, I have a couple of logged runs, but I really don't know how to read the logs, or how to inprove upon the tune. I have been using tunerpro in order to change a few things but I am afraid to change anything else for fear that I will screw something up.

What exactly do you mean by "Check #1 Plug" ... See if it's discolored?
and No, there is not a lot of black smoke, although I do notice a little in the rearview when I hit WOT

ok basically check your plug to see if it is running rich..if its black..or if its lean whitish.. i havent tuned for a cam yet but from what i have read is you have to add some timing in the idle and also play with your ve tables to get it running right. so did you just put a cam in or what is your problem that you are trying to fix? does it idle good. you also need to do a log with it warmed up. let us know
