Well coming home from the beach tops off just cruising, a yellow 96-98 cobra comes up behind me gets over next to me cruises next to me slow for awhile. Car sounded good knew it wasnt stock, we ended up side by side at the light both of us on street tires mine are bald. We took off slow an normal i was in 3rd doing about 40-50 and then i heard him hit it. I didnt down shift an grab 2nd just left it in 3rd an hammered it, around 80 i passed him like he was sitting still got to about 130-140 an then let off. A buddy that i didnt know was behind me ended up calling me asking did u just race a yellow cobra i was like yeah he then said i put about 8-10 cars on him, didnt look like that much to me but i wasnt paying attention. Got to the next light he asked me what was done an i said not to much just a 350 with a fat nitrous tune. He then said his car is a limp dick off the bottle an proceeds to pull his main feed line a hold it out the window lol. He said the car runs 10.5s on a 150 shot. Well later that night i go to walmart guess who pulls in the parking lot next to me. The yellow cobra, we bs for about 20 mins i tell him whats really done to the car an he tells me whats done to his... 98 cobra 5 speed, 4.10 gears, forged higher compression pistons, motor was built by a local machine shop, 4 valve motor, aftermarket cams, worked intake, full bolt ons, long tubes and x pipe, and a 150 shot and a dyno tune. He also has a 65 mustang coupe with a 289 that runs pro street class that runs low 10s N/A. Now that i got my kit installed were gonna do some bottle to bottle runs an will provide a vid of them :)

Why do you have a "fat nitrous tune"? Isn't it a wet kit..

idk yes it is a wet kit, but when i told him it was a 150 shot he didnt ask wet or dry an i didnt have a kit at the time but knew i was getting one. The car is very rich, not rich enough to hurt plugs but rich figured it was due to the n2o tune.

its been raining non stop here bald tires and rain means car stays in the garage. This guy had a tat on his arm of a 68 firebird emblem, and has a long history of fbodys an racing gm's so i dont really put him in the mustang owner category lol.
