Anyone ever use Jeggs spark plug wires?!? My car started running sluggish and when I got home I found out that my #8 spark plug wire came out of the wire loom and was burned by my header. I need new ones but like most money is tight. I've got all the parts for my car from Summit so I went on the website to see what the wire would run. The cheapest ones were $65. I can do that but since money is tight I decided to check out Jeggs and found the Jeggs 8mm brand were only $30. That I can do!! But my question is how good are they? Has anyone ever used them and if so are they any good or do I just go with the Taylor set for $65? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

You know one of my Taylor's did the same thing. I had to put one of the old MSD's I had laying around back on. MSD's are tops but at $90 for the cheapest a set they are out of my range right now. Thanks for the imput.

On my last Z I got fed up with burning wires and made Taylor OTVC wires and used their stainless boot protectors - never burned another wire (previously had MSD 8.5).

you could get those jegs wires, but I would wrap or insulate the wires that are close to the headers.

Never had problems with MSD or Taylors, that would be my first choice. I dont see the Jegs wires being a problem either, your getting name brand parts with the Jegs or Summit over it.

Since money is tight I think I may go the Jeggs rout and just get the boot protectors also. My first choice would be MSD but you have to do what you have to do. Anything is better than #8 wrapped in electrical tape!:D
