After 4 yrs of delay after delay, I finally get the car on the dyno for only the 2nd time in 4 yrs. Even still, this isn't a complete pull as yet again I shredded another belt after the 8th run. The 1st real pull only netted 399.7rwhp/423.6rwtq @ 7psi on DynoJet. 5 pulls all identical and we couldn't figure it out since the car was so loud, everything sounded perfect but it was just dead flat. Prior to it being on the dyno we saw 18psi on the street. Off the dyno we looked it over and realized we blew the IC pipe clean off the IC. It was a good 2" off the IC coupler and yet it was still seeing 7psi! We couldn't see it w/ the fans all in the way. So we proceeded back on the dyno and the 1st pull w/ no adjustments of any kind to the prior 5 pulls.....657rwhp/643rwtq @ 14psi but you wouldn't believe the rpm....5K! AFR's were in the 11.0 range so it can be leaned on a tad more but we played on the side of caution. We got it up to 5800rpm @ 18psi and then the belt gave way so no numbers but we're suspecting 730+ range. Once I get the pulley alignment situation taken care, I'll switch to a 1 7/8 headers w/2" collectors and 3" y-pipe then try again nextsummer and spin it to 6500rpm (22-24psi) as intended and see what happens, We'll do a meth run or two for giggles. :D I know once past 18psi I'll need some 114 gas.
Here's the link... as I said it's only of the 657 run and you'll see the fuel dumping out the tail pipe at the top of the run.

Sean,

We all couldn't believe ourselves how fast it spun up. Kinda thought it was tire spin but all 7 pulls were the exact same way...it just comes alive as soon as you stomp it.

That's incredible. Dyno's lie though......you need slicks and skinnies and a track trip. :D You might find yourself trapping a lot higher than what you dyno with the way that thing spun up.

I know, right? LOL! Tracks speak the truth. Still got that 10 bolt back there so anything stick is an automatic trip on the flatbed. LOL! Looking around now for a 12bolt and see if I can find a good deal on one and have it in the garage. So what's the status on the TA, get it running pretty decent? Got any vid of it yet?

Go to youtube, search out "Fastbird93", I've got a couple of vids on there. I'm swapping to some clean plugs today/tomorrow and hitting it again. It's getting there.

Nice install work. Need to see some pics of the engine bay. Like how you did your catch cans! Not sure if I got that kind of room down there but I'm bout to tear my front end off and the engine accessory system to do some work. Rewiring everything over again and hiding it all like I should've done from the jump. That 1st startup vid was rough dude. LOL! Good to see the progress......

Hey, what version are you on in XFI?

Damn dude, that did spin fast. Considering....you've got room to play ;)

What muffler do you have on that 4" setup? Sounds good too! What happened to your rear spoiler?

We want to get it dialed in w/ gas only, then meth tune and a race gas tune. That way I'll have 3 tunes to switch from on the fly when necessary.

Flowmaster race series muffler, believe the 40. Spoiler is being repaired at the moment.
