I have a 1993 Camaro Z28 that is almost complete. It's a running car (newly rebuilt motor and rebuilt tranny with 2000 stall) but needs some body work. Chassis is undamaged (best chassis ive seen - no spot or rust or a bend anywhere). Just needs front bumper, headlights and pass fender. I am willing to trade it for a new 4000+ converter for a TH350

Yank or Vigilante th350 stall? Why so picky (I know you said "preferred") on the manufacturers? Those 2 have the market for 4L60's cornered but when you open up to the th350/400 or a powerglide there are TONS of excellent companies out there. Art Carr comes to mind, Neal Chance, also, just to name a few.

Just got into the TH350 thing - wasn't real fond of all the companies that make good converters for em. I'm open to anything that's worth it

you can pick up a converter for a th350 farly cheap, there a lot cheaper than the 4l60 ones out there.

Personally I would look to see what the Big-Dogs are running. They don't run those converters you can buy at Summit, like TCI and whatnot. Neal Chance is pretty big in the NMCA classes, so is Art Carr.

Here's a link for you:

PTC makes the best converter by far, every one is custom made for you. Some of the ORSCA guys picked up 5-10mph in the 1/8th by switching from really high end (yank/neal chance/art carr, etc.).
