what kind of issues would there be? could i take them to a rim shop to make them work? what are the costs?

I love those wheels, and I think they would look great. BMW is supposed to have the same bolt circle as GM's. I know for a fact people have put BMW wheels on 3rd gens, and they have the same bolt circle as 4th gens.

i have bmw pattern wheels...
they fit...
only thing i suggest is to use a shank style lug nut so it grabs more threads and doesnt scratch up the area around the bolts

F-Body's are 5 x 4 3/4" bolt pattern which translates into a 5 x 120.65mm bolt pattern. BMW's are 5 x 120 bolt pattern. There's not much of a difference there, but once you torque the first lug nut down, you're throwing the other four off, putting a side load on the studs, however so slight, which they're not designed for. People have had failures of wheel studs from doing this. Just be prepared for it if it happens.

Yea Fast bird is right, you dont want to over stress threads with any type of shearing force, all those troughs and peaks are called stress concentrations just waiting to propagate cracks
I know that alot of people will come in here and say, I have them and I have had no problems, bla bla bla
All I can tell you is that from my engineering background, a tolerance of .65 mm is HUGE and there will be yielding of metal

i was told i could actually machine the bimmer rims to make the holes the same space/size apart.

thats a bad idea unless the wheels are hubcentric and not lugcentric
having oblong bolt holes on a rotating mass with high torque behind it is not a good idea

I wouldn't do it either, if you like those style wheels try,
rpm 505
5148
or
HP evo
5149
You can probably get them in different finishes also.

get some hubcentric rings from a wheel dealer, theyre cheap, and you wont have any lug stud issues.

you still are putting a radial force on the stud, so you can overstress them over time, so you wont have certain issues, but you will certainly have fatigue issues over time due to the studs being forced into the holes and torqued down
