thank you for this but i have already seen it... i asked what people are actually using. i'm not sure i want to switch to LEDs for turn signal use because i don't want to deal with the flash being fast and don't want to bother adding other relays to counteract that. unless there is a LED flasher that fix built in now that i don't know about....

Be careful with that AutoLumination website - they actually make you pay for a 60 day warranty. I've heard a few bad reviews, but their prices are amazing.
As far as the bulbs go, I plan on using a chrome bulb that flashes yellow. You can either paint your stock ones chrome (but risk the paint flaking) or purchase them already painted. They range in price from $30 (for the name brand "Stealth Bulbs") to about $5 for a set on eBay.
You can also use LEDs, but like you said, you risk having to run a flasher to get them to work correctly.

cool, thanks for the tip but why would you want to use white? do you still have the stock yellow corners? turns/side markers should be yellow.
and how did you stop the hyperflash? or do your signal lights flash faster and you just live with it?

48 LED switchbacks in mine. They match well with the projectors/fogs IMO.

No I have the black housing clear corners. I wanted white because I'm running an Audi style strip of LEDS along the bottom the turn signal area and wanted the flash color to match. As far as I know, as long as they are not red or blue it's ok to have white in front. Haven't been pulled yet.
Never had a hyperflash issue. Pluged these in and ran. They flash like they normaly should. Of course, back when I got my LED tails I wired them up with some load resistors.... maybe thats why these work ok.

Most parking light clear corner kits come with bulbs.
I purchased my car with the smoked "clear corners" and they have amber bulbs in them

I have an extra set of 1157 48 LED switchbacks if you're interested. They're brand new.
