Is anyone doing this, i have a couple of new summit turbo mufflers just laying around, looks like theres alot of room on the pass side floor board, the drivers side is lower, but it looks like it can be done, just looking to do up a quick dual system, i would like to see some pix if anyone has theres set up like this.

There are alot of guys running a system like this on ls1tech. THey say they make more power like this on their racecars and it saves alot of weight. The only bad thing i can think of though is you're gonna go deaf if you drive the car everyday. Those turbos are gonna be deep as hell and sound like your sitting on a hard hitting sub.

I would love to see some sidepipes pictures/sound clips, but I agree that I think the dumps right under the floorboards would really get to you after awhile. And I usually try to go loud as possible, but there is a point where it gets to be too much...

Think : Nearly open headers.

I really don't drive the car that much, mainly on weekends, i was just wondering how guawky they would look, plus ground clearance on the drivers side, the pass side will tuck up nice, i'm not too concerned about the noise in the car, i've had cars like this before, these turbos are pretty quit from say a slowmaster single chamber, i guess i'll have to try them out & see.

This would be cool, sidepipes on a 4th. gen. lol, may look cool , maybe not :shame: :jest:

Yeah thats why I would like to see it, not sure how it would look. No doubt it would sound badass though :D

Ive wanted to run true duals with side pipes exiting right before the tires for a while. However i have enough troubles driving around with Lt's and a y pipe. I couldnt only imagine how bad id scrape with a system like that.

I used to have purple horneys right after the LT's and when I switched to an Xpipe and further back I picked up a little power and ET. Besides you'll enhlae fumes all day , believe me.

Well after mocking things up, its going to be a bit bulky, especially on the drivers side, so now i'm thinking of just going off the Ory like originally planned, enyone ever use the Cherrybomb glasspack? I can get an 18" X 4" body X 3" inlet/outlet for 31.00 from autozone, total length is 23", i've heard these cherrybombs before & was surprised how quite they sounded.

Ive got cherry bombs on my truck. Not much louder than flowmaster 40s. ON my buddies blazer though he ran through some cold water when they were hot and it made them loud as shit.
