help me? Ok so the goal is LOW 11's on MOTOR. I mean real low. such as 11.03 low. I was thinking about the some ported elliot heads, pacesetter longtube headers, CC306 cam. full bolt-ons.

pretty much what I want to know is what can get me to low 11's and over 400rwhp or around 450 rwhp. all info is a great help. Also the car is a vert. it will have light weight seats in the front, SFC's, and a rollbar.

Bieng a vert is going to hurt you due to the added weight. How much weight do you plan on taking out of it?

It may be possible with a ported stock heads and a custom cam, but the entire car will have to be dialed in perfectly (tune, suspension, torque converter).

Some added cubes and a top notch H/C package should do it.

For some nasty all out N/A performance a 215CC set of Advanced Induction TFS heads with a custom solid roller cam (you can run a custom hyd roller, but it'll give up some HP up top), thier street/strip ported intake, Mono TB, and 42 lb inj.
To make the power with the Trick Flows you would need to atleast change the pistons due to the larger than stock combustion chambers. This top end package on a properly built 383 will be an all motor monster. AI claims about 440-475 RWHP with the TFS215 package (I am pretty sure those numbers are with a hyd roller)

If you are sticking with a stock shortblock, I'd go with the 200cc H/C package from advanced induction, thier street/strip intake port work, 58mm or oval TB, 36-42lb inj.
They claim 395-435rwhp with this package on a stock engine (slightly more with the ported intake).
This is the package that I am going to run on the 383 that I am building. (I had the heads done before I decided to go with a 383, or else I would have went with the AI Trick Flows)
BTW, thier claims are on an M6 car, so the numbers will be a little lower through an A4, but will still perform exellent at the track (we dont race on dynos's)

I am trying to keep it pretty much with all the creature comforts and a full street car still. So the only weight reduction will be the seats most likely. It might get a fiberglass SS hood also. i would like to go 383 but I want to see how far I can get on the stock cubes first before I tear the engine out of it. I have heard good things about the AI trick flows. So on a stock cube shortblock I can get about 440rwhp? with the ported intake. that is pretty good for a stock shortblock. Yes I know we don't race on Dyno's. I hate dyno queens. The A4 will be quicker at the track once it starts going fast.

You wont want to run the Trick Flows on the stock shorblock, though. You will lose compression.

If you can deal with having to adjust the valve lash periodically, a solid roller with the 200cc stock heads package may give you the extra hp needed to get the heavy vert to reach your goals.

Check out AI's site for thier packages and customer results: http://advancedinduction.com/AiHome.htm

BTW, Rick A's T/A on the main page is a freak and his results MAY be possible, but are not typical, lol

Give AI a call when you can. Ron and Phil are great guys and will not steer you in the wrong direction just to get your money.
I have spent quite a bit of time on the phone with both of them discussing my combo and different variables in the build.

I did A LOT of research before I decided to go with them. It seems like Lloyd does great work, and some of his customers have repiorted great time and performance, but the results don't seem as consistant as AI's.
