i had some rocker noise but took of the cover on the driver side and adjusted them according to instructions found on this site. they are now quieter like they should be except now when i rev er up and let off the throttle it makes a tapping sound like tappity-tap-tap. and it sounds like the rear most rocker arm. no noise from low to high but only when i let off the throttle. advice?:hmm:

How many miles on your engine and what mods do you have? Could be some worn out lifters.

no mods on motor. 3" exhaust no cat 3.73 gears modded auto trans and not sure on real miles. i bought the car with the gears installed but the speedo was off so i got a tune from ion so not sure how many miles are on it for sure. but i am begining to suspect the lifters as i search the forum. this started about a week ago or so. the car was runnin hot(230) so new thermo installed and now this. could it be related?

I'd like to read the instructions you followed. Can you post a link to it?

are u sure its not an exhaust leak? a leak around the header gasket can sound like rocker noise.
