Heres a conversation from this morning with my buddy at work:


Me:I see old camaros,corvettes,gto's etc. but I've never seen an 82 toyoto with a classic vehicle plate
Him:well atleast it's paid for
Me:I didn't even know they made toyotas in 82!

Then this new girl butts in...

Her:what kind of cars do you drive then?
Me: chevy
Him: yeah he just bought an 08 impala
Her: oh my brother used to have an impala...it had a 350 corvette engine in it
Me:ok just stop right there I've heard enough

Pretty sure the vette guys stole our motors after we got a hold of them...

Should be "2000 Corvette with FBODY motor!"... We took it over after 97 for the LS1 guys.. And the LT1 guys took it over in 93.

I talked to a guy earlier tonight that was convinced that my car was a ram air tpi. No matter how many times i told him it was an lt1. Of course he also said i need to take my gs stripes out to the middle of my hood and go to the back of the car with them. I also stopped and looked at a mid 90s grand prix today and the first words out of the guys mouth are "Does that have the corvette motor" I just got back in and left.

I know a guy who is suppose to be very knowledgeable about cars, tuner, builds race cars ect. ect. and he swears to me up and down that the 94 firehawks have a 5.0 motor. Even tho I tell him no they had LT1s, he tells me it was a 5.0 version. I give up with some people.
