If you've upgraded to long tube headers, it's a good idea to move up to the heated O2's. If you're running mids, it's going to be hit or miss if you'll need to upgrade. When I had MAC's, I didn't need to. When I switched to Arizona Speed and Marine I needed to make the move.

What happens is that with the 93's, the single wire non-heated O2's get moved farther back in the exhaust stream from the stock location, which means less heat coming across them. In Mids this usually isn't a big deal but with long tubes they actually get back far enough to where they won't stay warm enough to keep the car in closed loop at idle and part throttle conditions. This translates into lower fuel economy and could possibly lead to some part throttle stumbling and surging if the tune is far enough off.

If you're interested in making the conversion, have a look at my website --www.FastbirdPerf.com I've been producing Heated O2 conversion harnesses for about 3+ years now on SpeedDensity.org. I have everything necessary to whip up a quick set, and I guarantee you won't find a conversion harness for less.

Heated O2's are the only way to go. I'll be getting mine after the midtubes burn in and trash the single wires.
