View Full Version : For the 92-93 guys, got a broken IAC Connector

This is for the 92-93 guys only as we use the square connector on the IAC. These typically have the retaining clip break off due to heat and age. I ordered some new ones because mine was broken also, but had a min quantity to order so I went ahead and intend to help the community out. Pic below:

These new connectors are a direct fit. You need to have a way to free the pins from the original connector. A weatherpack tool (about $6) or a small diameter thin wall tube (small enough to barely go over the pin) will free them from the stock housing. Then you just pull the retaining tabs on those out some, and insert into the new connector.

I only have a few of these (I think 6 or 7 more) and will sell them at $3.00 mailed each. I know it seems like a lot but factor in additional postage for thickness and you'll see that I won't be clearing much at all on them.

Just remember, this is the connector ONLY. No wires or pins. You have to depin the factory connector and put the wires into the new one. It's easy, took me 2 minutes with my weatherpack tool.
