View Full Version : Possibly and LTX First!

I may be the only LTX person in the country who has accomplished this! :D

I've been to both Lloyd Elliott's head shop in Red Oak, Texas and now I've been to Chad Golen's engine shop in Husdon, New Hampshire. Lloyd and Chad are both really super people with a lot of character and personality, not to mention the really great LTX engine work they do!

No punch line or hidden agenda here...... Just thinking I'm probably the only LTX person who has been to both Lloyd's and Chad's shops. :D So, has someone else been to both places?

Dang it!!! Lloyd never told me he have been up to Chad's place in New Hampshire. Considering I started the thread, I can make-up the rules, so no Lloyd doesn't count! :D

I dont know if its true but i HEARD golen will now put an LE package on his engines now, Maybe someone knows for sure . Again its just what i heard :claps::heart:

I've been to Gil Davis Racing Engines in West Chester, PA. I'll never have the desire to go to anyone else's shop.

Wow, considering I dont live too far from Chad's place and I havent been yet. Backhand me....

I will be doing some heads/intake and a new cam soon Im sure, so I will at least be hitting ONE of those two places. :D

What are you doing for work up there so close to me Warren?

and that is cool that you have been to both shops.

I'm been so involved this year with my tube-chassis car and NHRA bracket racing (I'm top-5 in track points, was 2nd), so I haven't put any effort into my LTX car upgrades for the shoot-out. However, last time out it ran a 10.80, but I believe it is capable of 10.60s with the right upgrades (basically, weight reduction)!

Also. Lloyd tells me he has never been to Chad's place, so I'm possibly still the only one that has been to both places! :D

With my work I travel all over the country, so I'm just about everywhere at some point-in-time. Last year I was in Los Vegas and was able to attend the SEMA show. Also, I visted Kooks Custom headers while I was on Long Island working, but didn't get over to World Products.

Damn Warren I posted last year I was at SEMA and no one replied :( I see how it is going to be :D

Next time you are in Seattle give me a shout! We will go have some Sea food grub ;)

I wore my 2009 LTX Shoot-Out shirt at the SEMA show last fall and not one person asked about the shirt! :( I guess you and I didn't see each other out there! :laugh:

I do come to Seattle from time-to-time, also have some kindfolks there.
