how would i do against a 240sx

alright so i have a '96 firebird formula M6 stock gears and 255 bf goodrich g force sports.

i ran a best of 14.01 at 103mph in the quarter mile and that was with an intake and slp loudmouth 1 catback. a 60 foot of 2.1xx

my friend who's pretty cocky about his nissan 240sx ran a 13.7 at 98 mph with a turbo sr20DET it has an exhaust.

now i'm pretty annoyed that he always says his car is faster than everyone's i do keep my mouth shut but, i know if i could launch better i'd beat him impretty sure but i want to know that you think.

now he just put headers onto his car too.

i just added pacesetter long tube headers with an ory.

do you think i would have a chance at beating him in the quarter? its running at like 12 pounds of boost.

How do you add heades with a turbo kit?

Probably a turbo header.

Honestly man, even with a launch, he'd probably beat you. It's HARD to get a good launch (think under 2.0) on a mostly stock LT1 like yours is. You may be jumping off the line in front of him even, but turbo cars like to pull hard on the top end and I bet that's where he'd get you.

Now, you bring headers into the mix on your car, then it's a different story.
