I am sorry I know this is a very broad question

As of right now my best documented run was when I was bone stock going 13.95 @ 100mph on street tires. Since then I have added what is in my sig. The long block is still stock. I want to plan this right and not throw my money in the garbage.

Is it possible to get into the 11's with a stock short block and still keep it a street car? I know, I know.... I haven't even got her back together yet and I'm already planning on going faster ... it will be future as the current mods have cleaned out my wallet :shiner:

Would heads (LE2), cam (230/234), and gears (3.73 or 4.11), tune, nitrous along with the current mods be sufficient? Or am I just kidding myself?

Mods if this would be better in a tech section I apologize. Please feel free to move it

Mine is low 11's with a stock shortblock n/a, and it's a street car, albeit a very loud, low-mpg street car that doesn't like rain at all. You won't need nitrous with those heads and cam that you picked, but you WILL need to hook it to the ground with some good tires and a great converter.

with heads/cam and bolt ons you should be there,i dont think you will even need nitrous.

This is good to hear

I wanted to stay away from nitrous anyway for the fact it is a consumable and the nearest place I can get it filled around here is about 2 hours away. I am still curious to see how much better I can do with the headers, true duels and tune up.

My times are in my sig and I'm n/a 355 stock rods and crank. My heads are baby 180cc afr's and a cc306 cam. I hook very well though with a best 60' of 1.567.
