Wasnt ready to start a thread yet for my upcomming Dyno date with the camaro, however I felt the strong need to give Moe credit for being one of the most upstanding business men I have ever dealt with....
As some of you may know, I was having issues with what I believed to be a MAF maxing issue with my boosted camaro..... Moe stepped up and stopped me from getting the MAF massager to bandaid the issue and rather offered his services to me for a cost which I will tell you was simply insane for a business man to ask for (Meaning low, not high)
After multiple, hell NUMEROUS conversations with MOE, he absolutley dazzled me with his knowledge and we set it up to send him my ECU or PCM (whatever FASTBIRD, lol). Even with his schedule, Moe kept me updated and posted along the way , and even took care of other issues with SES lights, codes, calibration etc etc etc..... I sent him previous DYNO sheets showing him AF etc, and he analyzed all of it..... Moe came back to me without ever bad mouthing any of my previous tunners.... even though from what he has explained to me, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TALKING SHIT ALL DAY LONG....
In his final email to me, after returning me the computer he sent me this message (here is most of it that pertains)

"OK, Got your PCM in the mail yesterday, Like I said I really don't know what the guy was trying to do but there was plenty of fueling parameters left to get the A/F correct. It's hard to explain what he was doing but he did re-cal the MAF (up to a point) to add fuel but then in the Power Enrichment mode, this is when you go full throttle he was pulling out lots of fuel, then in the Injector Size he put a lower number, this too increases fuel so???? Your timing was at a danger point..."
He dumbed stuff down so that even I could understand, and gave me a true view of how dangerous my set up may have been...... hell even the injector size was incorrect in my previous tune....
Early Weds Morning I had the computer and it was back in the car withing 5 minutes..... She cranked twice and fired..... I gotta tell you, she doesnt crackle and pop like she used to, but holy crap is she aint smoother. Moe is confident that I can give her hell, howeve I asked him if I put it on the dyno for some very fine tuning, and adjustment, if he would mind being on the phone with the tuner here to set it up. Moe didnt even hesitate to offer his service.. in fact it appeared that he cared more about my car that worrying about his own schedule that I honestly believe HE WANTS to be on the phone to make sure my guy doesnt mess anything up......
Moe, Thank You for all of your time and effort.... I will start a thread on DYNO day to keep everyone apprised of the outcome... however by the simple feel of the car the way it is now..... as long as the car is mechanically sound, I think she will do real well on the rollers......
