Prostars or 18"s ?

I am very indecisive at times... I cant make up my mind whether to get Prostars or some 18x9.5/18x10.5 black with polished lip. Car is mainly for weekend streetracing/cruising with occasional track time. Either set will get a pair of Hoosiers :devil:

Street wheels always look 10x better than bigs/skinnies. My 2 cents. Those 18's look fucking great. If I could afford 18" tire prices I'd be all over them but I'll probably end up with some 17x11 DD C5's when they come out.. can't beat $100/tire sumitumos...

I gotta say I have never been a huge fan of big/skinnies... but thats because I wanna toss my car around alot and I love the big foot print on the front and rear. but hell.... its your car, and both options look great!

Do you want to look good or go fast? I wouldn't put street tires on pro stars (defeats the point) and I also wouldn't drive around on slicks/drag radials so I'd pick up a nice set of wheels/tires for cruising first then pick up a set of drag wheels/tires if you race enough to justify the expense.

I want to look good AND go fast :devil: Ill be driving on drag radials anyway like I said, either set will get Hoosiers. I don't drive the car that much anymore, if I am its usually weekend street racing... as long as the tires last me the summer (which they should), its all good.

But looks like the 18s are in the lead ;)

Those things are HEAVY ! I bet those wheels cost you three tenths in the quarter over stock, and even more over a set of drags. Guess thats the price you pay to look good though
