I got the Lakewood DSL and finally got it on. It is adjusted as far left as possible and it hits the weight on the driveshaft. Its a stock aluminum driveshaft. I've got it to where normal driving it wont hit unless you leave hard. It will also hit if there is more than 1 person in the car. Ive checkd my tranny mount and its good. I jacked up on the drivers side of the loop and that is how I have clearance now. I know I could heat up the loop to gain more but its almost hitting the floor on the passanger side. Any help??

Is it part number 1318022? If so looking at the picture it looks like it can be mounded in 2 locations front to back, if it's possible have you tried moving it forward? I guessing it's hitting on the passenger side you said you've got clearance on the driver side (left) and it's almost hitting the passenger side (right) correct?

It is the 18022. Mine is actually slotted so it slides. I have tried as far forward and back that it will go. I think after looking at it again, Im gonna take it off and enlarge the slots to slide it left more.

If that doesn't work I had this one on my car before I got the MWC stuff. It fit great but I had to drill into the floor of the car.

I really only bought it since I didnt have the 2nd crossmember on the car and the DSL wouldnt be a bad idea. Since this is the nicest performance car I have owned I dont think I'll drill any holes. Maybe I can get it off in a week or so to redrill it.

Well after swapping some brackets I have good clearance now. I actually got it to move backwards to clear the weight on the DS. No more thumping!!!

Damn, I had one but gave it to my buddy cause I couldn't get it to fit. I'm lowered with sportlines and have a speed inc chromoly DS, not sure if that's why.

With my wife and child in the car it will just hit the slighest on harsh bumps but thats ok. Another reason I don't think I'll lower the car other than the heater hose mod.
