5th gen kill

on my way home minding my own buisness, lol! i seen a 5th gen rolling pretty hard up on me in my rear view, he was weaving in and out of traffic like a madman. i was sure hoping he wanted to play, and boy did he ever. got up next to me and gave me a rev and a nod and it was on! after about having 5 cars on him i let out of it, and damn if he didn't do a ricer blow by! he never got out of it, just went on down the road flying, guess he was mad that my old T/A just whopped his new 36k SS ass. lol! was the first 5th gen i had the chance to run, so it felt good showing the new guy that the old dog still has a few tricks up his sleeve :D

Damn, what do you have done? My buddies SS did a slow pull on my lid, ported TB, full exhaust 01 Z28. I did 353 rwhp and 366 rwtq. He was a stick and we're both full weight. Did you race a stick car?

built engine, th400 and alot of weight reduction. i belive it was a stick, just by the way he revved on me. normally an auto guy won't put it in neutral to rev it like he did??

i had an old guy in a 5th gen with exhaust laugh at my car... he wasnt laughing very long lol. 5th gen owners seem to be a different type of owner then the rest of the generations. I can't stand them.

I was going to ask the same thing. The 03/04 Cobras are nothing to be trifled with. With just minor mods and a tune they can push 450+ rwhp ... easily.

lmao, did he do a ricer flyby after you handed him his ass.. no details on the cobra, was just dumb luck to run up on him. my car is so damn loud that i can't tell if he was spinning or not??? and at the end of the run the road forked, he went left onto the interstate and i went right on the bypass. so i never had the chance to ask.

YEeeaaah, what the hell is up with that? I've noticed the same thing...

I've run two 5th gens, both SS... No idea if they were manual or auto, but crushed' em both. CUH-RUSHED 'em... and both seemd to resent the hell out of it. :)
