Ahhhh, ANOTHER vacation..... I love not working....

SO, I am on vacation AGAIN.... finished up work on 6/23/10.... and I dont return till 7/16 or 7/17...

Spent the 23rd till the 1st, doing WHATEVER I wanted, relaxing... installing the airbags in my car... drinking... and celebrating my birthday... (ugh 34....)

Packed up the Montero and left at 2300hrs on Friday the 2nd, and made it 1100miles to Florida by 345pm on Saturday.... I shed 1hr and 21 minutes off of the GPS's ETA......

There is realy no point to this other than to have a place to share some good pics once I get some....

We will be in Florida till the 11th, then return home and still have 6ish days off, to do as LITTLE as possible. LAZY VACATIONS RULE!!!!

You aint kiddin.... its cool though.... got a week off for the shootout.... a 2 weeks off for a cruise in November, and CHistmas thru new years..... lol.... I get ALOT of time off....

IT IS!!! and I love roadtrips, where I get to drive my own stuff. My truck has over 140,000 miles on it, and my parents didnt think I should drive it 1100 miles. My dad actually insists that it wouldnt make it and that it is a POS.... well here it is dexked out, loaded up and a blast to drive....

Here is the only pic of it LOADED, when we stopped in (I think) VA for our first refueling.... Kinda sucked though, because the truck's fuel guage only goes down to 1/4 tank and will remain there till it runs dry... so I refueled just prior to seeing 1/4 tank left... which meant I was stopping every time I used about 12 gallons.....equated to about 175miles between refuels.... I know I could push it further.... but I didnt wanna chance it since its a gas hog when loaded up and running (only got about 15mpg)

We even made fans on the way down... JUST before we reached SOUTH OF THE BORDER, we caught up to the MINI ME version of my truck, the two dudes in it were cheering like crazy when I passed em.... it was humorous....

What's time off? :secret: I only took about 3 vacation days so far this year. 1 more later this month for Mayhem Fest, 2 in Oct for OCMD, and the week between xmas and new years.
