Just a few pics of my restore job to my 54. I removed all of the interior and I sanded down the rear quarter panel and I sand blasted the rear speaker deck (cellphone pics). During the sand blasting some of the sand got up into my safety glasses and into my eye. Not good. I couldn't find the goggles I normally use so I went with the safety glasses. Needless to say I didn't get as much done as I would have liked.

Working on old cars is always a PITA but it's a labor of love. I'm hoping to get it running by the end of the year (crossing fingers). Actually I have a beefed up 283 that I'm going to drop in it. My wife asked me about dropping in my stock LT1 that I pulled out of the Camaro but that would be to pricey and we already had the 283 rebuilt so we are going to stay with that for now.
