no fuel pressure with engine not running???

Ok there's no leaks good filter got a pressure guage engine on ignition to run 0 psi slowly raises if I prime in a few times but goes back down when engines running its right we're it should be about 30 to 35 at idle would this be the pump or regulator any help appreciated greatly

Sounds like it might be the check ball at the pump, but just a guess.

fuel line in the tank is split or has a hole?

Wats the current draw of the pump?

If it drops slowly it could be the check valve in the pump as stated or the fuel pressure regulator is leaking internally. Pull the vaccum line and look for gas.
