I just got done adjusting my torque arm after removing it to change something on it, and the left (driver) side rear sits high as hell. I can fit both of my forearms on top of each other between the fender and the tire (and I don't have the smallest arms). I can't think wtf could have caused it. The right side isn't so bad.. I did have the left side of the car jacked up a lot for the past few days, up and down, etc. Only thing that my friends and I could come up with is that the shock got stuck/froze while the rear was just hanging on that side. I remember hearing a weird noise, but I can't quite remember what it was.. Spring perches are fine and so are the springs. The car is just cocked over (you can see it from the back that the left side is higher). Any other ideas? They are stock DeCarbon race shocks :D
P.s: As soon as I jack the car up from the pumpkin, the tires lift off the ground almost immediately. The suspension doesn't give at all. Also when I drop it very quick, it barely compresses - very stiff.
Here's a badass picture of it. Cleared for DONKS.

If the springs are sitting properly in their perches top and bottom then my next guess would be a stuck shock absorber. Have 2 or 3 people sit inside the trunk area. It should go down. If it doesn't something is bound up. I would guess and say the spring popped off of a perch at the top.

Yeah, it's the strangest thing ever. Spring looks fine. Jumped on the car (I weigh 240lbs) and still no go. Tomorrow I'm removing that shock and going to jack that side of the rear end up with a jack, to see if the springs compresses. If it does, then obviously the shock is frozen somehow. If it doesn't compress, I assume the spring somehow kicked out of place and binded up - although visually it looks fine. This is retarded :shiner:

Maybe the shock is bent somehow?

Looked pretty straight. It's extremely confusing lol. Tomorrow I will have a better idea when I unbolt the shock. This damn car...

It was not getting hung up on the bump stop was it? Mine are all wore out and when I jack the car up they will catch and sit just like that. Other than that I have no idea what it could be. I could not imagine the suspension binding that bad.

Nope, it clears the bump stops by a longshot. I don't know what else it could be >.>

pull the torque arm back out... see what happens.
If I read this right, adjusting the torque arm is the only thing you did prior to the issue , right?

Yes. I removed the torque arm because it was jammed (I forgot to lube it before initial install) so my friend got it loose with some heat, and I put it back in the car and adjusted it accordingly. The pinion angle is perfect (around -1) but the damn thing sits high. Only on the driver side (rear) though. I don't know what it would entail. I unbolted the shock and it's not frozen or anything (I can compress it with my hand). Spring seems alright. It's just weird, the tires will start to lift off the ground on about the second pump of my jack (meaning the suspension is not giving at all and is very stiff). Ordering new shocks sometime this week (I need them bad) so we'll see from there. It is so frustrating not knowing wtf is wrong lol

Any chance your panhard bar is bound up or bent?

It looked pretty straight, but you never know. I'm going to remove it and take a better look at it. Thanks for the ideas. I'm all out!

I installed some drag shocks, I don't think it helped much. It looks a LITTLE lower, but still monster truck status. I guess I will pull out the torque arm. I didn't think the TA can cause these kind of height issues..
